My Son is
Beyond this Rainbow
I was lucky enough to be requested to create a commission for a mother who lost her dearly loved son to suicide last year. She had many elements to be included as well as his portraits over many years. She selected an excerpt from a book about clinical depression and suicide. This is written in the center and requires stepping up to the quilt to read it. He loved robotics, motor bikes, gargoyles and his mother likes to think of him as beyond a rainbow.
These are some of the photos from the work in progress.

It absolutely breathtaking!
I can't imagine her pain...
I definitely think thus will help her tough, such a happy and uplifting visual statement.
A very moving representation communicating a poignant message. A wonderful tribute.
